Born and raised in Urbana, IL, I attended the University of Illinois for Jazz Performance. Somewhere along the way, I developed a love for research and added a musicology degree. My research on copyright law’s effects on hip-hop sampling led me to New York City, where I’m in my first year as a J.D. candidate at Fordham Law.
